Here we try to resolve the murder of Christa Helm which remains unsolved.
Christa Helm was a actress who played bit parts on Wonder Woman and Starsky and Hutch. She aspired to be a very famous actress and she was willing to do anything to get there. But her journey was cut short when she was found stabbed and bludgeoned to death on a street in West Hollywood on the night in 1977. In death she got the international renown she craved, but not in the way she wanted.
Outside of acting, she excelled at parties and bedrooms in the Hollywood Hills. She had a reputation as a Hollywood playgirl, whose lovers included legendary playboys like Warren Beatty, Mick Jagger, Joe Namath, Roman Polanski and the Shah of Iran. She detailed her trysts in her ‘sex diary‘, in which she rated the famous men she bedded. She also secretly recorded her sexual encounters. Both of these went missing after her death and the police suspect she had been killed for what she knew and chronicled.
There were many reasons someone wanted her dead, which included that she might have been blackmailing someone or one of her many lovers got jealous because of her tryst with others. But in the final letter to her friend, she wrote, “I am in way over my head here, I’m into something I can’t get out of.”
One of the suspects include Patty Collins who was a background singer and also one of Christa’s numerous lovers. She has disappeared, since the night of the murder and investigators are still looking for her.
